Hey everyone,
CUPA is excited to share some exciting news in these uncertain times! Liz Anderson will be our new Director of Operations. The primary objective for this first hire is to continue building a supportive, efficient, and sustainable organization for ultimate frisbee in Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky while growing CUPA membership and CUPA sponsored playing opportunities. We look forward to where this will take us.
Liz Anderson is an 8-year native of Cincinnati and a graduate of the University of Dayton, where she studied Graphic Design. She’s been very involved with CUPA as a board member since 2014, a member of the Womxn’s Committee, Club Team Committee, and Event Sanctioning Committee, as well as having many roles in the large-scale tournaments that CUPA and Oshadega have hosted. She actively plays in many CUPA leagues, mixed club with Goose Lee, and is excited to start playing Masters this summer too!
“Ultimate has always been a constant in my life and it is truly a dream to do it as a profession. I hope to bring positivity, hard work, and my marketing/design background to take CUPA to the next level for our region!”
* The official start date is currently being finalized, but will be this month (April 2020). More details about how Liz will operate in her new role will be distributed once the onboarding process is complete. For now, any questions about the position can be directed to cupa...@cincyultimate.org.
Thanks,
Ryan Gorman
