STAMFORD – U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) on Wednesday will host a roundtable with Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons and Charter Oak Communities Executive Director Vincent Tufo to discuss how Connecticut’s cities and towns are tackling the housing affordability crisis. Murphy and Simmons will hear directly from nonprofit housing advocates, local and state officials, developers, and Stamford residents about the challenges communities face in building affordable housing, and highlight successful approaches to addressing housing affordability throughout Connecticut.
