Looking for 25+ Java developers

Hi All,

MHG is currently looking for about 25 Java Developers, please look at
the advert below and send your CV's to itrecr...@mhg.co.za. Word
of mouth will also be appreciated as catching the java species is
proving difficult.

Senior Java Developers

Introduction
Are you interested in making a difference and writing real – world
applications? Then this challenging, exciting opportunity is the one
for you. Your technical expertise and experience is essential to
perform well in this position. The IT Department uses a variety of
computer systems and networks, in applications that make full use of
the capabilities of these systems.

The Incumbent will be responsible for:
• Back-end software application development using J2EE technologies.
Knowledge of EJB3,JAX-WS, JPA, Hibernate ,JMS, Eclipse IDE, JBoss
(Application Server),ESB (Servicemix, Camel),Continuous integration,
Unit testing will be advantageous.

• Analysis and design.
• Implementation of solutions.
• Coaching and mentorship of junior developers.

The applicant should meet these requirements:
• Matric is essential.
• A three year tertiary qualification in the field of computer
science, software development or engineering. E.g. B.Sc, B.Ing, B.Com,
National Diploma in IT.
• At least 5 years software development experience using Java

Competencies
• Problem solving and analytical thinking
• Results driven, team player with high energy levels
• Ability to work independently/unsupervised and to function
effectively within a team
• Ability to perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to collaborate with others

The job grade and remuneration will be commensurate with the
successful applicant's experience, qualification and skills. please
