Unearthed international hackathon will be held in Cape Town 5-7 February 2016

Hey Guys,

I would like to spread the work of a hackathon taking place 5-7 February at Workshop17 at the Waterfront to target innovation in the mining / resource sector with the idea of solving problems and providing technology solutions.

The event will run just prior to the Mining Indaba conference. 

The initiative is run through an Australian affiliate of mine Mikey Kailis with an organisation called Unearthed solutions.

The event is free and all participants will be provided food and drinks for the full weekend.

The Unearthed hackathon events have been running the  for 2+ years now.

There are great cash prizes for winners as well as a chance to present their prototype / concept at the Mining Indaba conference to some big mining corporations.
