Hello Fellow Orienteers!
This summer I'm planning to go to the woods once per weekend to do some navigation training. I've invited students from the high school team to attend if they would like, and it makes sense that I extend the invitation to others as well.
The basic idea is that I'm going to design a training, go to the forest, and run it. Anyone who wants to join will be able to do the training as well. No preparation to be done on your end, just let me know you're coming, show up, and gets some exercise!
There are a couple rules, however, which I'm going to be very firm about:
1) You must LET ME KNOW in advance if you're planning to attend. I am only printing enough maps for those who are coming, so if I don't know you're coming, there will be no map for you.
2) If you need a ride, make sure to LET ME KNOW ahead of time. I am open to driving people, but there are only so many seats in a car, and I don't want anyone to get left behind. If you do NOT need a ride, just meet me there.
Here is a link to the
calendar (I hope it works). I will also post these on AttackPoint, although I might not always remember to update the days/locations/times. I apologize in advance for this. If you need to know about a specific weekend ahead of time, please don't hesitate to shoot me a message and I'll figure it out.
See you in the woods!
