Team CRC,
If you didn't want to ride on grass or in alleys or try to figure out where you are going, you did the best thing by staying in WV (!). But Randy, Bev, Tom, Steve, and Phil rode headlong into the Coal and Coke Trail, covering about 13 miles while keeping warm in their outer jackets. We got to see Scottsdale in detail, and riding the roads there was nice. I was tempted to pop over into Everson on the way back but I didn't. There were port-potties and the occasional sign to guide us.
After we got back Tom and Steve decided they hadn't had enough and went to find the 5 Star trail. We finally found a trailhead and spent the next 14 miles uncovering all the other ones. There were two road sections, one where there was construction and that trailhead was filled with construction vehicles, and a mile long stretch along the industrial park.
When we go back (!), we will check out the Bird and Bat sanctuary, where pests are eaten.

Steve

Sounded like an interesting ride.
