1) Learn the inspiring history of the Rails to Trails movement which led to the many transformations across the nation of public trails for walking, running, and biking! Documentary release tonight with WV PBS airings on Thursday, October 16- TONIGHT, 8 P.M. Friday, Oct 17- 1 A.M., 9 A.M., 3 P.M. and Sunday, Oct 19 2 A.M. 9 A.M. and 5 P.M.  Trailer- https://youtu.be/8ut6iH63-tQ

Chance to hear and talk with one of the leaders of the movement and co-founder of the Rails to Trails Conservancy, Peter Harnik on Sunday, Oct 26 for the Blackwater Canyon Celebration! Learn more at https://www.saveblackwater.org/cool-canyon-celebration

2) Reminder- Trail work happening on upgrading the drainage and surface on the Mon River Rail-Trail from mile 24 (Opekiska) to mile 29 (Pricketts Fort State Park). The trail will be OPEN but make sure equipment operator sees you before going through the work zone. This work will be ongoing during October.
