   Turns out we have a couple amateur photographers in the club. Here's an instant classic (I think) of me and Larry out near Rich's Farm. And here is the weekend ride schedule, and one ride in November. Inclement or cold weather, contact ride leader about cancellation.

Saturday, Oct. 25 at 12:00 NOON West Fork River Trail  Mike Hawranick 304-641-5564

(**, T). 26 miles. Meet at the Big Lots in Fairmont, off of Country Club Road. We will bike on the West Fork River Trail to Shinnston. At Shinnston, we will get refreshments at Gibbie’s, before returning to the start.

Sunday, Oct. 26 at 12:00 NOON Greene County Loop Kelly Williams 304-276-5530

(**, R) 20-30 miles. Meet at the Senior Center (yellow brick building) in Mount Morris. We will do a loop around the back roads of Mount Morris.

 

Saturday, November 1 at 12:00 NOON BONUS RIDE: Coal and Coke Trail Steve Knudsen 304-906-3483

(**, T). 20 miles. Meet at the trail head in West Main Street between Center Avenue and South Depot Street, Mount Pleasant, PA. We will explore the Coal and Coke Trail in Mount Pleasant.

Free parking at Allegheny power trailhead, according to Google Maps.

Excellent photo: cyclists riding bikes on a paved road!  Who’s the photographer?  Who are the other 2 cyclists in the photo?

The two cyclists are Larry Osborne in orange and Steve Knudsen in yellow. The photo was taken up in Fayette County, where Larry would lead us through the back roads of Fayette County. It feels like the photo was taken where there’s a statute of a dairy cow, in front of a dairy farm. Kelly
