Section of Trail Closed Today, Washouts on Deckers Creek Trail mile 7 and 8

Good morning all,

Please be aware and share-

TODAY- about 500ft of the Mon River / Caperton Rail-Trail CLOSED for work in the area (trail mile 8.5). This is between 1st and 3rd Streets in Morgantown. Please stay safe and avoid this area from 7:30AM-4:00PM.

Mountain Valley Resources will be working from city limits to Uffington on drainage repairs.  Trail will remain OPEN but make sure equipment operator sees you.  

Next Saturday, June 8, is Rail-Trail Day at Modern Homestead in Reedsville.  A percentage of sales from garden nursery or cafe will be donated to the rail-trail.  Hope to see you next Saturday.
