Memorial Ride and Salem WV North Panhandle ride this weekend

(***, R). 30 miles. Meet at PriceCutters, 1208 Fairmont Avenue, Fairmont 26554. We will bike in the Gary Marten Memorial Bike Ride, on a loop on the roads through Marion County.

(**, T) 22-28 miles. Meet in Salem in the public parking area in front of Ace Hardware 10 AM. Trips says 1hr 11min. from the Coliseum.
Trail surface is not as nice as ours, Tom saw several riders on what looked like 700 -38 tires and several on road tires. Tom rode the wide tires on his scouting trip.
There is one tunnel that is ridable with a headlight or beside someone with a light, maybe 200 yards
Ride will be at least Salem to Smithburg 22 miles round trip.
Could go to West Union 28 miles round trip. This would have to be unanimous.
Salem has a Dairy Queen and several convenience stores. Other than that, Rest Rooms were mostly non-existent.
