Job Description
Visiant, formerly ikaSystems in Southborough, MA is looking for a Solutions Architect with Healthcare/HIPAA experience to join our NextGen Architectural Team. Visiant offers business process outsourcing and software solutions for local and national health plans. Built on the market-leading ikaSystems technology platform, this scalable solution delivers cost-effective back office Medicare service offerings.
Requirements
· Work closely with the business systems analysts and product owners to understand the business data requirements and usage patterns to develop conceptual/logical/physical data models for relational and NoSQL databases with an eye towards data integrity and research-conducive, accurate representation of data.
· Conduct data exploration, solve data problems, and execute algorithmic data processing using SQL. Develop data modernization strategies to achieve mission critical goals and build actionable data architecture roadmaps to execute upon the corporate vision.
· Develop strategies and tactics for the optimal use of on-premise and cloud-based database technologies. Advise on tactics to facilitate superior performance, scalability, security, and ease-of-maintenance.
· Partner with PaaS architects to develop and execute on a phased plan for high availability and fault tolerance across multiple data centers.
· Candidate must be from development background, strong in SQL, data loading/migration, database and data warehouse design, and business intelligence.
Nice to have…
· Understanding of database solutions provided on popular cloud platforms.
· Experience in processing unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis.
· Experience migrating database solutions to the cloud.
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with others at all levels; effective at working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
