Position:-Senior Business Analyst

Location:-Woonsocket, RI or Chicago (Northbrook, IL) and Solon, OH (Cleveland/Akron area)

Duration:-6+Month

Requirement:-

• 8+ years of successful business analysis experience including writing business requirements
• Experience in the software development methodology lifecycle - including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design; business, functional, and non-functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation
• Experience working in and/or leading dynamic cross-system teams using a structured project methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce concise, clear and complete requirements documentation.
• Ability to clearly articulate the system solution to all business partners and IT partners.
• Experience facilitating meetings with large groups of business and IT representatives required.
• Experience supporting large projects and concurrent projects required.
• Strong problem solving skills to identify and help project team find solutions to issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the relationships between various applications and systems.
• Motivate others and provide innovative solutions for team improvement.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Tools.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience in working on projects with multiple Business Analysts
• Ability to understand, conceptualize, and depict system solutions that span multiple systems
• Ability to identify, document, and facilitate resolution of business/functional issues that cross multiple systems or platforms
• Ability to develop a strong alliance with the Enterprise Project Manager, raising and resolving issues
• Provide guidance, transfer information to the individual platform Business Analysts
• Support the Solution Architect in defining the solution and communicating to the application teams. Be the focal point for the desired business solution for all IS groups.
• Ability to clearly articulate the system solution to all business partners and application Business Analysts
• Ability to facilitate meetings with business and IS people, over phone using web conferencing with large number of people
• Ability to support Enterprise Test phase of the project
• 5+ years experience developing Use Cases using a software development methodology
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)

• Facilitation skills, to lead requirements elicitation workshops
• Observational skills, to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation
• Writing and Verbal skills with a meticulous attention to detail, to communicate information effectively to customers, managers, and technical staff
• Organizational skills, to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, while also working with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information
• Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, project management, and technical staff)
• Modeling skills, to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language

 

EDUCATION         

Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred.
