Position: embedded engineer

Location:  Irving, TX

Duration: 6+months

Requirement:-

We’re looking for a couple of solid embedded SW engineers with emphasis on bare metal and Bluetooth development experience.

Required skills….
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
•    Proficiency in developing multi-threaded, modular, and efficient firmware for highly embedded applications.
•    Proficiency in real-time design techniques for embedded systems under bare metal and RTOS environments.
•    Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded applications. Proficiency in embedded programming for various microcontrollers platforms.
•    Proficiency in using software tools for embedded applications (compilers, linkers, bootloaders)
•    Proficiency in implementing communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C Bus)
•    Proficiency in static/dynamic analysis, code coverage concepts and associated tool usage.
•    Proficiency in reading an electronic schematic and use of test equipment (Oscilloscope, meters, etc)
•    Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, detail-oriented, organization skills, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
•    Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred experiences…
•    Proficiency in scripting languages to aid in development level testing.
•    Experience in medical software development per IEC 62304.
•    Experience in risk management activities per ISO 14971.
•    Experience in working with ISO 13485 compliant quality system.
•    Experience in use of Microsoft Project Experience supporting processor and operating system selection for new product development programs.
•    Experience working with wireless technologies (Zigbee, Bluetooth, BTLE, Wi-Fi) and associated cyber security aspects.
