If you are going to write or create an ebook, you need to do the research first to make sure you are writing about something people want to purchase and to maximize your ability to make sales. Otherwise, you are just wasting your time!.

This includes finding a target market that is hungry for what you have to offer and doing a keyword search to see what keywords your target market is clicking on. Then using those keywords in your title and copy.

So how do you figure out what keywords to even look at?

I was once talking with Internet Guru Mark Hendricks at a conference and he said that the problem is that people go brain dead when they start trying to figure out what keywords to look up. Instead of thinking like a potential buyer they think like an Internet marketer trying to figure out how a buyer would think.

Two good places to find keywords are http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com and www.goodkeywords.com. But I really like the keyword tool in Google. Because it helps you generate keywords that you may not have thought of on your own. And it helps you get outside of the "Internet Marketer" box in your thinking.

You can find this tool at: www.adwords.google.com. You enter one keyword or phrase per line and then hit the "get keywords" button and it will generate more keywords for you. And, it saves time plus it's free!

So take the extra step, go the extra miles use the Google keyword tool and you will be generously rewarded with great keywords, higher page rank, and more ebook sales!
