Winter Break Fun Club

boys and girls, ages 5-16

Dec. 21-23 and Dec. 28-30

7:00am-6:00pm

YMCA Member: $40/day or $162/all days

Non-Member: $50/day or $174/all days

New Class! Safe On My Own (SOMO)

ages 8-12 years

The American Red Cross Safe On My Own program is designed to teach kids how to be safe when home alone. At the SOMO program, you will learn home safety skills, how to interact with strangers, and internet safety skills.  Also, you will learn some basic first aid and a whole lot more!

CHOOSE ONE OF THESE DATES:

Thursday, November 12 or Monday, December 14

5:00-8:30pm

OR . . . Monday, December 28

9:00a-12:30pm (Pack a lunch.)

YMCA Member: $15 · Non-Member: $20

Kindergarten Basketball Coed League

Participants will meet once a week from 9-10am on Saturday mornings. YMCA staff will run an instructional practice for 30 minutes followed by game play for 30 minutes.

Location: Wolverine World Wide Family YMCA

YMCA Member: $30 · Non-Member: $60

Youth Basketball League

grades 1-8

Teams will practice once a week with games on Saturdays. There will be 6 games over a 7 week session. Grades 3-8 will be in a traveling league with other YMCAs in the area.

3rd/4th Grade Boys

3rd/4th Grade Girls

5th/6th Grade Boys

5th/6th Grade Girls

7th/8th Grade Boys

7th/8th Grade Girls

YMCA Member: $35 · Non-Member: $70

Tae Kwon Do

ages 7-10 years

Tuesday and Thursday

Beginners: 7:15-8:15pm

Intermediate/Advanced: 7:15-8:15pm

Tae Kwon Do is taught by a 6th and 1st degree certified instructor. Classes will focus on learning and applying defensive and offensive physical and mental techniques and developing positive self attributes such as caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Member Holiday Cross Challenge 2009

Thursday, November 26-Thursday, December 31

Your goal is to complete all of the activities and conquer the challenge. Activities are based on the honor system. Members will participate in weekly fitness activities of varying degrees of difficulty depending on their fitness level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). Members are not expected to finish each activity all at once. All miles and times are cumulative. All who finish the challenge will receive a Holiday Cross Challenge t-shirt and be eligible for the grand prize drawing!
