Happy Holidays Everyone!
December is a great time to pause and enjoy time with friends and family.  With the hustle and bustle of all the things on your schedule, don't forget about your workouts.  It is great for your spirit, mind, and body.  Have a great holiday season!

Arts & Humanities at the YMCA
Many of you know us as the place for a good workout, sports program, or swimming lessons, but the YMCA is much more than that. We have all sorts of Arts programs that will help enrich your life.  Have you ever wanted to try learning to play the guitar or piano?  What about learning to draw or dance?  Our Arts leaders are asking you to help them plan our programs.  Please take a moment and complete this on-line survey. FREE Corporate Health & Wellness Workshop
Learn how modeling health and wellness as a part of your corporate culture will help your bottom line. Our Activate West Michigan Corporate Health and Wellness committee would like to invite you to attend this free breakfast workshop on January 27 from 8:00-10:00am at the David D. Hunting YMCA, 475 Lake Michigan Dr. NW.

 

Tim Cusack, a sought after national speaker, will share his thoughts on how you can help your company be successful in this fun, active, practical workshop. This workshop is free thanks to sponsorship from Kellogg.  Sign up on-line!

Give a Little, Get a Little!
We have two ways for you to give the gift of health this year.
1. During December, if you have a friend who signs up for a YMCA membership, they get $75 off the joining fee, and YOU get a $25 YMCA discount card to use on any YMCA program!
2. Purchase a gift certificate for your holiday giving.  We sell gift certificates in a variety of denominations. And. . . to make your gift giving easier, we even give you the box and bow.
Ask any YMCA staff person about these promotions, and give the gift of health this holiday season.

Upcoming Fundraisers
Each year the YMCA raises money to help subsidize those who cannot afford a membership.  This is called our Strong Kids campaign. Our Wolverine World Wide Family YMCA and our Visser Family YMCA have two events in January that you won't want to miss.  Follow the links for more information and to register.
