Kids Getaway Weekend

December 12-13

ages 8-15

We will be picking up campers in the Grand Rapids area for this fabulous overnight so that parents can work on their holiday shopping or wrapping! 

There will be exciting activities such as sledding, crafts, climbing, and campfires.

Bus picks up at the David D. Hunting YMCA at 10am Saturday, and drops off at 10:40am Sunday; and the Southeast YMCA will pick up at 10:40am and drop off at 11am.

YMCA Member: $55/person | Non-Member: $65/person

Second child discount is $5 off price

Winter Break Day Camps

December 21,22,23,28,29,30

We will be offering traditional Day Camps as well as Special Needs programming and Horse Day Camps.  Come explore the wonderful winter wonderland of camp. We will be keeping campers busy with snowshoeing, sledding, rock climbing, crafts, and s'mores.

Horse campers will learn more about feeding, grooming, and riding our wonderful horses! 

Sign up for one day or all six! Bussing is available from the David D. Hunting and Southeast YMCAs at an additional cost.

DAY CAMPS - YMCA Member: $27/day | Non-Member: $32/day

HORSE DAY CAMPS - YMCA Member: $37/day | Non-Member: $42/day

Bussing is an additional $8/day

Ring In the New Year at Camp! 

December 31-January 1

Start 2010 with your friends at Camp Manitou-Lin.  We will be having a party that you shouldn't miss including pizza, games, indoor climbing, crafts, Wii tournaments, New Year's Dance and Countdown, and a New Year's Brunch.  We will be providing transportation from the David D. Hunting and Southeast YMCAs.

We had our first meeting in June, and here are the officers: President - Lucy Preston, Vice President - Tracy Evink, Secretary - Sue Mason, Treasurer - Cindy Wildey.

 

FUTURE MEETING DATES:

Mar. 8th, 

Apr. 12th.  

All start at 7:00pm and last for an hour in the media center in the high school.  Everyone is welcome to the  meetings and there are still positions opened.  We want every student to attend, and we encourage parents to get involved.
