Hi Avinash
This is a simple & straight forward; we all understand this, but few of us think we need to stand up to support Anna.
Perhaps we think, who will brave the rain/heat and trouble to do this? Why step out from our regular comfort zone?
But let us also think:
Who suffers due to the corruption all around: WE
Who will benefit if things improve: We and our future generations; this is all in our interest.
Couple of other points to ponder:
What does Anna get out of this? Perhaps Nothing, except for the fame and recognition
Will we get someone else like him to carry on this movement: We dont know...
What about the many RTI activists who lay down their lives?
Why did Satyendra Dubey, an IITian, (and some more like him) risk their lives to expose corruption???
If not anything else, atleast we could,
a) pass on messages
b) participate in some meetings
c) contribute to these causes
and
d) hope good prevails over evil....
After all, we are only supporting someone, who is fighting for all of us.
Do comment; silence is not golden in this democracy.
