Update: Vigil and Memorial Service for Dr. Divyendu Sinha on Sunday, July 18th, 2010

New Jersey, July 14, 2010: Indian American community leaders are
planning to have a vigil in memory of Dr. Divyendu Sinha who died
after being brutally assaulted by five teenagers, while taking a late
night stroll with his family on June 25, 2010. The vigil will be held
at Old Bridge High School, 4209 Highway 516, Matawan, NJ 07747 on
Sunday, July 18th from 11AM to 2 PM.

Quick Update: Several members of COBNJ attended the Memorial Service
for Dr. Sinha today at Old Bridge.
The event was well attended and a fitting tribute to Dr. Sinha and the
rich legacy that he has left behind.
COB NJ would like to thank all the people and organizations behind
this event.
However, this is just the beginning of our efforts to enhance the
safety and security of every family on Old Bridge.
We are in touch with the Mayors office on a few initiatives, which we
will call a meeting to discuss details.
