Twitter for Learning Professionals
Presented By: Tom Stone, Element K
Over the past two years few, if any, technologies have been as
hot as Twitter, the public social-messaging platform that has taken
the world by storm. For many working professionals, this tool has
surpassed all others to become their number one source of timely
professionally-relevant information, the latest links and resources,
as well as insights about one's brand, customers, and more. But for
others it remains a mystery. How do you get started with Twitter?
Which individuals and organizations are using Twitter that might be
of interest to you as an Human Resources(HR) or Learning &
Development (L&D) leader? What reasons do you have for using it?
What applications are available to enhance the basic Twitter
experience? And what about other social-messaging platforms,
intended for use inside of organizations? This session will answer
these questions and more.
GV-ASTD is piloting the use of webinar technology for the
delivery of virtual program. In exchange for your complimentary
registration, we will ask you to complete a brief post-program
survey about your user experience.

initiate and execute the types of conversations that can ignite a
fire of energy and productivity from any work group at any level in
