Below are details of the rafting trip from August 3-5. It works out to be $38 per person ($30 for the rafting on Sunday + $8 for Friday night and Saturday night on the camp site).

Hello Friends,

It's that time of year again! For those of you that are being invited for the first time, every year a group 25-40 somethings get together from around the east coast from several churches for a fantastic weekend of camping, hiking, eating, laughing and of course, white water rafting. We have a blast every year, and I personally look forward to this trip. Can't you tell how excited I am? We are hoping to grow the group to 50 young professionals. It's a great time and you will meet tons of new and awesome people.

Schedule:
We arrive at various times on the Friday, set up camp, cook dinner and hang out.
Sabbath we make a group breakfast, and I promise to make my famous rosemary potatoes...we have brief worship and song in the woods, then hit the travels, play in the natural waterslide and waterfall....eat and hang out.
Sunday we spend the day on the river...bring your water guns because there will be battle;)  There's also cliff diving for the suicidal among you and rapid surfing. Then we pack up camp and take over the Pizza Hut or eat the rest of our food. 

 

Camping Dates:  Friday through Sunday August 3-5

 

Rafting Cost: approx. $30 person

 

Camping Costs:  $50 per campsite (usually split between 5-6 people)

 

Please reply ONLY to me (no reply all please) and let me know that you can come or can maybe come by Friday June 8th.

I will keep a list for now and then when we have a general idea of the group, I will upload the google doc. We'll assign campsites and such later. Right now I just need to know who wants to come. Please also invite anybody I forgot, any girlfriends or boyfriends or prospects;) lol ....family members and friends too. You do not have to be Adventist, it's a laid back time and welcoming to all. A great way to meet people and make friends.

I can't wait. If you've never gone, you don't want to miss it!

Please let me know, even if you're a maybe.

Small correction - the total cost is $40 ($30 for rafting - $10 for camping). That was my mistake, sorry Warren. Please let me know soon if you plan to come, I really hope you do and send me your check.
