This is another reminder that the 1st trial meeting will start in about

When joining the trial meeting, please do not enter your real name and
email address, if privacy is a concern.
After this posting, I'll go ahead and set up the trial meeting at
freebinar. When the meeting is set up, you will be able to see a banner
slide after joining the meeting. However, presentation and dialog will
only begin at 1200 GMT/UTC.

My thanks to the people who attended the first trial meeting yesterday.
The meeting was held with myself as the presenter and two other
participants. However, we seemed to have lost one of the participants
mid-way during the meeting. The thing that I feared most (system hang
during the meeting), did not occur. However, I did not test the
functioning of hablator. I was already watching two screens while
presenting yesterday. If hablator is to be used as a backup
communication media, I would have to watch a third screen, which
certainly would have been very distracting.
As it stands, I'll probably scrap the third trial meeting to concentrate
on preparing for the actual webinar on Friday. And just a reminder, the
2nd trial meeting will start in about 13 hours' time (1200 GMT/UTC), at
http://www.freebinar.com/ckerp1 .

I have done the following adjustment to the webinar presentation format,
1. I made some customisation to hablator, so it can be displayed as a
vertical strip, similar to the familiar online chat format.
2. Hablator chat will replace freebinar's native chat to be the
primary presenter<->participant communication media.
3. The screen share window will be maximised to provide greater
display area for presentation material.
If you come and join the trial meeting 1.5 hours later, you can check
out and comment on the new presentation format. I am definitely
cancelling the third trial meeting, so the upcoming trial meeting will
be the last before the actual webinar on Friday.

meeting.
With the use of hablator, screen space for displaying presentation
material is much larger, and the meeting went smoothly.
Just a reminder that the third trial meeting had been cancelled, so

Apparently, a shopping mall next to my home does provide free public
wifi service. However, I still need to check their link quality and
whether the shopping mall will open till midnight to night. As it
stands now, the webinar is very likely to go ahead.

The webinar will start in about 5 hours' time.
When I tried to start the (freebinar) web meeting, it tells me that the
meeting can only be started one hour before the scheduled time (1200
GMT), so I had started a dummy trial meeting. If you visit,
http://www.freebinar.com/ckerp1 , in the next 4 hours or so, you will
see a banner slide informing you brief info on the webinar. On the one
hour mark before the scheduled time, I'll kill the dummy trial meeting
and start the actual real meeting.
Everything is good to go.

Just a reminder that at (t-1)hr, the current dummy trial meeting will be
killed. The actual webinar (scheduled web meeting at 1200 GMT) will
begin at around 1100 GMT. However, webinar presentation will still
begin at 1200 GMT. The participants of the original trial meeting will
have to log back in, say, at around 1105 GMT. If privacy is a concern,
please do not use your real name and email address when joining the
actual webinar.

The trial web meeting has now been terminated. The actual web meeting
for the webinar should be up and running in 5 minutes' time. I will be
