Good Afternoon Citizen Action Project Leaders:

We wanted to remind all of you about steps involved in applying for
Public Funding. If your group plans to apply for any type of public
funding at the City, State or Federal level, please contact Antonia or
myself before doing so. We have found that the application process
for public funding can be significantly more time consuming than
foundation proposals, and often times requires a lot of information
and signatures from OSI management, and legal notarization of the
signatures. Also, we have filled out many one-time only documents/
forms, and have them on file for future public funding applications.
We would ask that you please give us at least one business week to
compile information for any type of public funding application.

Types of Public Funding that CITAC groups have applied for in the
past:

New York City Council Discretionary awards

USDA Funding

New York City Economic Development Corporation

New York City Department of Education Funding

If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at

Regards,

Gina
