Dear All,
Please feel free to take me off the molecular oncology google group where you mostly post journal club articles for students.
As a faculty member from Medical Oncology leading 4 studies in the Department of Molecular Oncology, most of the faculty members in Molecular Oncology did not keep me posted about several important activities that as a faculty member running projects in this Department, I should have been made more aware of. The faculty members maybe aware of several translational research opportunities that I have discussed with them. I am not in a position to pursue those ideas and projects with most of you.
I look toward to staying in touch with the PhD students who discuss their aspirations in the field, the technical and scientific staff members. Keep up the fantastic work and I look forward to seeing all your achievements in the field of Oncology.
Thank you, Ms. Sangeetha, Ms. Srividhya and Mr. Subramani Jayavelu for your support towards my training in the Department.
I will continue to work closely with my DST-SERB Technical Assistant, Ms. Sariga, and those who are associated with the project who wish to continue helping me.
Ultimately, the projects that I am leading are translational research projects that will hopefully contribute to our understanding and clinical care of patients who we serve in this prestigious Institute.
Best wishes,
Dr. Nikita Mehra
