When I was working in NREL, CO, a friend a mine was making fun of me, asking if they need anybody to develop a solar flashlight. Well, this technology now exists! I suggest recharging it during day time, and it might not be a good idea during winter time in the Great Canadian North.
- Bogolith will give a solar flashlight to the developing world for every flash light that they sell.
- My favorite: a bike solar flashlight! Ideal for me, who come to work with the big sun shinning (OK, during summer only) and come back often late in the dark…
