Dear Colleagues,

 

Texas Woman’s University is excited to announce that we are seeking to hire an Assistant or Associate Professor in School Psychology to join our program next fall. This is a tenure track position starting in August 2026 and we are open to all areas of research and scholarship.

Qualifications for the position include the following:

·      Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD or EdD) in School Psychology from an APA-accredited program, conferred by Aug 2026

·      Licensed or license-eligible within one year in the state of Texas.

 

Review of candidates will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date is Fall 2026. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience and will include benefits.

TWU’s School Psychology Program has both a Doctor of Philosophy degree and a School Psychology Specialist degree track. The PhD degree program is accredited by both the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), while our Specialist degree program is accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Our well-established program continues to grow and is committed to developing future school psychologists to serve the needs in both our schools and communities. TWU is situated just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, with numerous amenities and research opportunities found in a large urban area and across the openness of rural Texas.
