Dear Colleagues,

My name is Celeste Malone, and I am an associate professor in the Howard University school psychology program. I am conducting a project titled, An Oral History of School Psychology Leaders of Color, 1969-1989. The goals of this project are to learn more about the experiences of school psychologists of color and highlight the stories of those who have been historically marginalized in the profession.

If possible, I would like you to share information about the project with school psychologists who may be eligible to participate. Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have had professional training or employment as a school psychologist;
  • Identify as a member of a racially and/or ethnically minoritized group; and
  • Have been a volunteer leader in a national or state-level professional association related to school psychology in the 1970s and/or 1980s.

If you know someone who would be interested in participating, please forward this information and the link to complete the interest form: https://tinyurl.com/SP-OralHistory. If you have any questions about this project, you may contact Celeste Malone at celeste...@howard.edu.

Kind regards,

---
