Hello CDSPP Peeps,

The APA Commission on Accreditation is inviting nominations for a new commissioner. There are only a few of us school psychologists who serve on the COA and it would be wonderful to add another voice from our field. See below and attached for additional information. Please note that you do NOT have to meet all the listed criteria.

Call for Nominations: Commission on Accreditation (CoA) Open Seat

 

Nominations are being sought for a 2027-2029 Open Seat on the Commission on Accreditation (CoA) of the American Psychological Association (APA). 

 

For the open seat, “the CoA will solicit nominations from groups, organizations, and individuals to identify psychologist nominees.  Appointments will be made from the range of nominees for a three-year, non-renewable term to allow for greater flexibility and responsiveness to the development and evolution of the field.”

 

The full call for nominations is attached. Please provide nominations materials to (tsc...@apa.org) and the firm deadline for nominations is June 23, 2026.
