Hello all,

I am excited to announce a second job posting for Louisiana State University. The Departments of Psychology and of African and African American Studies (AAAS) at Louisiana State University anticipate filling a tenure‐track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in the Fall of 2022.  The appointment will be 51% in Psychology and 49% in AAAS. The departments are committed to intentional and ongoing engagement with diversity, equity, and inclusion, and recognize the intellectual value of doing so for the science and the practice of psychology. The Assistant Professor position will advance the departments’ commitments to increasing diversity in their faculty and promoting diversity in teaching, research, and service missions. The faculty member should conduct research that contributes to Behavioral Health/Health Equity broadly within the Psychology department’s Clinical or School specializations. We seek scholars specializing in the application of psychological theory and methods to understand health equity and disparities in African Americans.

Below is the link to this exciting and innovative job opportunity!
