Colleagues,

The Department of Psychology at Appalachian State is thrilled to search for a School Psychology faculty member at either the Assistant or Associate level to begin in August of 2022. The detailed job description, along with application instructions, is attached. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Appalachian State is set in one of the country's most beautiful locations. The Department of Psychology has 33 full-time doctoral level faculty members, almost 1400 undergraduate majors, and 80 full-time graduate students in four master’s degree programs, including Experimental, Clinical, Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management, and School Psychology. The latter also provides a specialist degree in addition to the MA. The Department also offers a clinic for training, research, and service to the community. The faculty are dedicated to mentoring students and offering opportunities for experiential learning.

Please share the position opening broadly and feel free to contact me with questions.

Warm regards,

Jamie
