Hello Everyone!
Please see the below message and survey request from Dr. Sue Orsillo at APA. Given how closely Sue works with CUDCP on training matters, please be sure to complete the survey! Thanks everyone!
Eddie
Graduate psychology programs across the country are facing significant challenges, including resource limitations, and shifting policy landscapes, that threaten the future of the field. In response, with input from various stakeholders, APA has developed a brief rapid response survey. We are asking graduate program directors from all psychology fields to complete this survey to help us to better understand these threats and gather timely insights from those directly involved in psychology education. Your anonymous responses will guide and inform APA’s advocacy and professional development efforts, directly benefitting psychologists and psychology students across the United States.
If you are a graduate psychology program director (i.e., the administrator who is most directly responsible for a specific graduate program such as the Director of Clinical Training or Area Coordinator), please take 5-10 minutes to complete this survey, which can be accessed through the secure URL located below. Questions ask about the impact of government policy changes and proposed government policy changes and other contextual factors on graduate psychology admissions, curriculum, and program funding. You may complete the survey anonymously or provide your identity if you are willing to be contacted with additional questions in the future. Either way, your responses will be kept confidential, and the survey results will be analyzed and presented in aggregate, never on an individual level.
Only one administrator should fill out the program for each specific psychology graduate program at your institution. To avoid duplicate responses, if multiple administrators direct a specific psychology graduate program at your institution, please coordinate who should complete the survey.

Please consider sharing the survey with other graduate psychology program directors in your department (e.g., if you have distinct programs in different subfields of psychology) or at other institutions and encouraging them to participate.
If you have questions about the survey, please contact Shawn Polk in Graduate Education at the APA, by email at Gra...@apa.org. Deadline to respond: 9/5/2025
Thank you in advance for participating in this survey and making an impact.
Best Regards,

As a reminder, CUDCP policy prohibits member representatives or others from posting requests for research or surveys on the CUDCP listserv. Given the number of studies that would like access to DCTs and our faculty and students, this policy is intended to preserve
the intended function of CUDCP listserv. The only exception to this policy is research conducted directly for the benefit of CUDCP, by CUDCP, such as the studies conducted by CUDCP student representatives, the DCT survey, or “flashpolls”.
