I would also love to know plans for the CDSPP mid-winter meeting. I recall reading that it might take place at NOVA university, but don't remember any other details.

Position Overview
The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Kansas seeks a tenure-track Professor at the Assistant or Associate level in the School Psychology program. This position is a nine-month appointment beginning August 18, 2024 with a competitive salary commensurate with experience and education. We are committed to attracting candidates with demonstrated interest and skill in integrating cultural and individual diversity in scholarship and mental health practice in the field school psychology. We actively encourage applications from members of underrepresented groups in higher education.
The University of Kansas School Psychology program has a doctoral (Ph.D.) and an educational specialist (Ed.S.) program. The Ph.D. and Ed.S. programs are approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and accredited by the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), and the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE). The Ph.D. program is also accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and has been continuously accredited since 1986. In addition to the Ph.D. and Ed.S. programs in school psychology, the Department of Educational Psychology offers Ph.D. and master’s degrees in counseling psychology, development and learning, and research, evaluation, measurement, and statistics. The Ph.D. program in counseling psychology is also APA-accredited.
The University of Kansas is a major educational and research institution with over 29,000 students on five campuses, 2,600 faculty members, and service centers throughout the state. The main campus is in Lawrence, a vibrant, thriving community of more than 90,000 that is just 30 miles west of Greater Kansas City and 20 miles from the state capital. Job Description
Teaching - Teach core school psychology courses (.40 FTE).
Teach graduate level courses in areas of School Psychology during the academic year—two 3.0 courses per semester is the general expectation, with opportunities to teach additional courses during the summer if desired.
Advise and mentor Ed.S. and Ph.D. graduate students in the School Psychology program.
Supervise candidates in field experiences.
Direct Ed.S. and Ph.D. research projects.
Chair and serve on doctoral examination committees for students in the School Psychology program.
Research - Direct an active program of research in school psychology and/or educational psychology (.40 FTE).
Create, develop, and advance a scholarly research agenda.
Produce research suitable for research publication in refereed journals or other scholarly outlets in school or educational psychology and related fields.
Produce research suitable for presentation at scholarly conferences (e.g., American Psychological Association or National Association of School Psychologists).
Be consistently and regularly engaged in the pursuit of external funding to sustain their research program.
Mentor students in the development of research skills and the production of scholarly products.
Service - Provide service in the School Psychology Program, Department of Educational Psychology, School of Education & Human Sciences, University of Kansas community, and field of School Psychology (.20 FTE).
Serve on the School Psychology Program Committee.
Serve on committees for the Department of Educational Psychology, School of Education, and University of Kansas.
Collaborate with department, School of Education & Human Sciences, and campus colleagues.
Maintain active participation on committees within and outside of the university.
Represent the School Psychology Program and the field of school psychology to the university and research and professional communities.
Required Qualifications
To be considered at the rank of Assistant Professor:
Doctorate in School Psychology or related field, ABD in related field may be considered, with expectation that the candidate will have degree in hand by July 31st, 2024.
Graduated from an APA and/or NASP accredited program.
A recognizable line of scientific inquiry with potential or established grant funding
Evidence of effective, collaborative engagement through research.
Certified or credentialed as a school psychologist in Kansas. Licensed or license-eligible and working towards psychologist licensure (e.g., actively completing post-doctoral hours) in Kansas with expected completion within three years of start date of appointment.
Evidence of working responsively with underrepresented and traditionally marginalized communities and with inclusive, equity-minded approaches to service provision and teaching practice.
To be considered at the rank of Associate Professor:
Doctorate in School Psychology or related field.
Graduated from an APA and/or NASP accredited program.
Demonstrate at least five years of successful experience at the rank of Assistant Professor
Evidence of teaching excellence.
A recognizable line of scientific inquiry with established grant funding
Evidence of effective, collaborative engagement with students through advisement.
Certified or credentialed as a school psychologist in Kansas. Licensed or license-eligible and working towards psychologist licensure (e.g., actively completing post-doctoral hours) in Kansas.
Evidence of working responsively with underrepresented and traditionally marginalized communities and with inclusive, equity-minded approaches to service provision and teaching practice.

A complete application includes a cover letter identifying professional interests and goals, a curriculum vita, a complete set of official graduate transcripts, three samples of scholarly work, and three reference letters. If available, evidence of successful teaching should also be submitted.
In addition to the materials above, learning about each applicant's contribution and engagement in areas of diversity is an important part of KU's mission. As a result, applicants will be presented the following question at the time of application. The response must be within 4,000 characters or less.
