Dear School Psychology colleagues (students, practitioners, and faculty) (please read and forward to others to share this valuable information),

We are delighted to share articles featured in the most recent issue of SPR. This issue features scholarship that informs and advances our knowledge of Understanding and Promoting the Social-Emotional Well-Being of Immigrant Youth, in addition to general articles across multiple areas. The articles featured in this special topic section further advance our Understanding and Promoting the Social-Emotional Well-Being of Immigrant Youth through contributing high-quality articles focusing on (a) addressing bullying of migrant youth, (b) supporting migrant youth at school, (c) promoting social emotional development of migrant youth, (d) promoting positive school climate for newcomer youth, and (e) moving beyond asset-based frameworks.

Additional general articles address important topics such as (a) how distinct patterns of negative emotionality across early childhood predict later academic and behavioral outcomes, (b) the integration of religion and spirituality as essential cultural dimensions in school psychology, (c) the effectiveness of systematically fading self-management interventions to support students with emotional and behavioral disorders in maintaining positive outcomes, and (d) the development of a student-centered, bottom-up approach to assessing social–emotional competence.

We anticipate that these articles will be of tremendous interest to school psychology practitioners, students, policymakers, and faculty. For graduate educators, now is the time to update your syllabi for the next quarter, semester, year with this contemporary scholarship featured in SPR.

Hyperlinks are provided for easy access to each of the articles - Available to ALL NASP members! (first login to the NASP portal using your NASP member credentials) (and to others with institutional access, directly via the SPR website at T&F and links below)
