It is essential to increase the diversity of faculty & professionals in special education & school psychology!

Mian Wang, Jennifer Green @jgreen_bu, and Shane Jimerson @DrJ_ucsb are hosting a webinar 10/16 (8:30am PST / 11:30am EST) sharing #ProTips to apply to PhD programs.

Recognizing the tremendous career opportunities in special education and school psychology, as well as the fact that almost 50% of school-aged youth in the US are from racial and ethnic minoritized (REM) groups. Given that special education and school psychology faculty and professionals are predominantly white, it is imperative to increase the diversity of faculty in both special education and school psychology. This webinar will feature top tips from experienced special education and school psychology faculty, to help prospective applicants prepare their materials to apply to doctoral programs. We encourage undergraduates, professionals with a master's degree or specialist degree, listservs and individuals who may be interested to attend this webinar.

Sincerely,
Shane, Mian, and Jen
