The Presidential Inaugural Committee needs your help in Baltimore!

Saturday afternoon, January 17th, President-elect Obama, Vice
President-elect Biden and their families will embark on the Whistle
Stop Train Tour to the Inauguration. Part of their journey brings them
to Baltimore. The two families will host an event that's free and open
to the public on their way to Washington.

There's unprecedented enthusiasm surrounding this historic
inauguration, and we expect thousands of people to be on hand to wish
both families well.

With so many people coming together to celebrate this moment, we need
help from people like you.

Be a part of this historic event and volunteer with hundreds of other
local residents in Baltimore this Saturday.

This train tour to the Inauguration recalls Abraham Lincoln's
inaugural journey in 1861. Faced with a nation divided, Lincoln
offered his hopeful vision for the future of the Union in stops along
the way -- including one in Baltimore.

Sharing that same unwavering faith in America's resilience, the
President-elect and Vice President-elect will echo Lincoln's journey.
Together, they will ask Baltimore and all of us across the country to
do what we can to serve our own communities, working as one nation and
one people to renew America's promise.

We're committed to creating an open and accessible Inauguration, and
we want the event in Baltimore to be the same way.

To make that happen, we need the help of volunteers like you. Help us
begin Inauguration Weekend with a successful event:

We're just five days away from this event. If you are selected, a
volunteer coordinator will contact you as soon as possible with
information on an evening training session toward the end of this
week.

Help us in Baltimore, and when the train continues on its way to our
nation's capital, you'll be able to say you had a part in making this
Inauguration a success.

Thank you,

Tripp
