CDC April 22 Program - Howard County Council

First I would like to thank Howard County Executive Ken Ulman for
speaking to our group last week! Mr. Ulman addressed over 60 CDC
members and Columbia residents, speaking to many of the critical and
timely issues facing Howard County.

Our April program will feature a short presentation from members of
the Howard County Council followed by an open period of questions and
answers. Out of respect for those celebrating Passover and those on
Spring Break, our regularly scheduled CDC meeting will be moved to
Wednesday, April 22. It will begin at 7pm at the Jeffers Hill
Neighborhood Center, 6030 Tamar Drive.

As an additional reminder, we are in the midst of our 2009 membership
drive so please remember that you must send in your dues prior to
April 14 if you want to vote for our next CDC Board during our May 13
membership meeting. Membership is only $30 for the first family
member and $15 for each additional family member. Seniors (age 65 and
older), students and community members with disabilities can join for
$15 per person. Please make your check or money order payable to CDC
and return it to:
