Everyone, let me (digitally) introduce you to my good friend Slim, who you should definitely climb with!
Slim is originally from Tunisia, lived France while completing his PhD, and came across the pond for a post-doc at my lovely alma mater, UIUC. He loves the outdoors, and knows how to climb not just sport, but traditional and ice (and aid?). He was part of a group that put up the first rock climbing routes in Tunisia, and has a wealth of knowledge/stories to share.
I am headed out of town (to Turkey!) but anyone who has the time should take the opportunity to climb with Slim. He's a great climber and a quality human being.
Slim, I look forward to a trip when I get back!
Josh
