I would like to know a bit more about you all and what you are doing
with Cubase, Nuendo, Wavelab, and Sequel.
Are you checking it trying to decide which DAW to work with? Do you
use it to
for song writing? Are you recording and mixing with the software?
Please introduce yourself and tell use about your experience with
Steinberg software.

Hi,
This is a bit late, but better late than never.
Hi,
I have been a professional recording engineer since 1979. I graduated from
Recording Institute of Detroit in 1976. I'm a guitarist, singer /
songwriter and I have been interested in audio recording ever since junior
high school.

Around Detroit, I have worked at United Sound Systems; the Disc; Sound
Suite; and many "basement and garage" studios in and around the Metro
Detroit Area. I currently have a studio (bridgewerks AudioServices) in my
home producing my own projects; I have 3 released CDs; additionally I
record; produce and/or co-produce many artists in various genres locally and
nationally.

I have worked with George Clinton; Joe Harris from Undisputed Truth; Connie
Frances; Bootsy Collins; Thomas Whitfield; Red Hot Chili Peppers; with
songwriters and producers Sylvia Moy; Don Davis Barrett Strong; Thomas
McClary from the Commodores; and a myriad of other singer / songwriters and
producers who are very talented and never received the acclaim they should
have received.

In the mid '90s, I successfully made the transition from analog to digital
recording with Alesis ADATs; DigiDesign's Session 8; and the Roland's
VS1680. I fell in love with the technology and the power which it
contained. I currently use Steinbergs' Cubase and Wavelab; and Celemony's
Melodyne as the DAWs - I still utilize the 1680 for background tracks for
live performances.

I use Cubase for songwriting; production; recording and mixing; Wavelab for
mastering; and Melodyne's pitch correction.
