Job Title: Senior System Engineer

Location: Eden Prairie, MN  55344

Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Rate: $70/HR on C2C

Position Description:

A rapidly changing and growing business services company is looking for a contract (3+ Month) Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical knowledge and skills needed to implement solutions, evaluate products and provide a superior level of support that aligns with rapidly changing business needs.

Required Education and Experience:

• 5+ years installing and maintaining Microsoft Windows Servers and Virtual Server Environments
  
• Advanced knowledge of VMware VSphere version 6 or higher, VDI, Veeam Backup & Replication, ExaGrid Systems, HP ProLiant Servers and Load Balancers
  
• Knowledge of Office 365 email cloud environments
  
• Strong knowledge of Windows 2008, 2012r2 server, server upgrades and physical to virtual migrations
  
• Knowledge of Cisco UCS, HP ProLiant Servers and Pure Enterprise Flash Storage
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL database servers
  
• Strong knowledge of Windows clustering and virtual server environments
  
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP based networks
  
• Working knowledge of voice and data communications hardware
  
• Understands security best practices
  
• Working knowledge of firewall, IPS products and encryption technologies
  
• Strong knowledge of WLAN, LAN, WAN, and Internet Security
  
• Working knowledge of MPLS and SIP technologies and hardware
  
• Project organization and implementation experience
  

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MCSE or higher certification or equivalent experience
  
• VMware Certified Professional.
