The information below is identified as the minimum necessary to complete the assigned work:
Excellent communicator with minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software product development using C & C++ languages. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Software process application experience (minimum 2 years experience)
Object Oriented Analysis/Design experience (minimum 1-2 years experience)
Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) application experience (minimum 1-2 years experience), preferably Linux
Must be a self-starter, able to work well without close direction, both in the office and in the field
Must interface successfully with engineers and personnel of other disciplines
A strong candidate will have:
Experience using Linux, Qt, UI frameworks, OpenGL, Database Architect/SQL, DDS Middleware, Geometry/Math Wiz, Agile, and Enterprise Architect
Experience with Agile software development practices
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and software test automation
