We’re looking for a QA Analyst with strong technical skills to join the team that is responsible for manual testing and some automated testing of web services and database validation.  This role is a demanding, highly dynamic, technically challenging position. You must be a top-notch quality assurance analyst, detail-oriented, flexible, eager to learn, and committed to becoming an
integral part of our QA team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

·         Experience with manual testing of web-based or client/server applications;

·         Experience with writing SQL queries in either SQL Server or Oracle databases;

·         Create and execute manual and automated tests, document
testing practices, and communicate results/recommendations to team;

·         Works with other IT and technology teams to refine technical
specifications for test analysis and quality assurance;

·         Effectively communicate with developers and other QA
engineers, understand effectively how the business works with the
associated data;

·         Actively participate in team processes and use of
methodologies, including customized flavors of Agile;

·         Follow all established Client QA policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience / Education:
·         Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related area;
·         3 -5 years experience in software quality assurance,
preferably in an Agile-like environment, with experience writing
manual and automated test cases;
·         2-3 years experience in testing web services, preferably
with a large scale e-commerce system;
·         Experience writing testing cases for web services using SoapUI tool;
·         Strong SQL skills with MS SQL Server;
·         Familiarity with credit card processing, in real time and in batch;
·         Strong written and verbal communication skills;
·         Creative problem solving skills;
·         Ability and aptitude to learn quickly and work within a team
environment.
