Hello CCF!

Advent is here! In the midst of this busy season, may we take some time to reflect on the birth of our savior and his coming return!

Here are the announcements for this week:

1. Bible Study

We will be having Bible study tomorrowDec 7th @7 – 8:15 PM in VEC 1302. We will be studying Luke 2:1-20. Feel free to look at the passage beforehand. Hope to see you there!

2. CCF Christmas Party Social 12/14

Red Green Minimalist Christmas Party Invitation-2.jpeg

We will be having a small celebration party to wrap up the year. Join us for some snacks, games, and a Christmas Bible study passage

This is a great opportunity to invite a friend and those who usually don't come to CCF. Also, wear a fun/ugly Christmas sweater (or anything Christmas-y)!

3. CCF Leadership for 2024!

As a VP&S-recognized student group, CCF needs to submit the names of new leaders. Students can serve on the Executive Board (Exec) as senior leaders who will cast vision, strategize, and lead CCF or serve as a "deacon" (using a church term) to help in a particular area or task.

The term of service will begin on January 2. Students can serve from January to April (if graduating in May), from January to July (if completing your academic program in August), or from January to December (if you are graduating after 2024).

If you have questions, feel free to reach out to any exec member (Kristin, Christianna, Kathryn, or AB) or Hon.

Please also pray for the Lord's guidance and wisdom.

4. GroupMe

If you would like to be more involved in our CCF Community, then you would love our GroupMe! This is a way we share encouragement during the week, stay up-to-date on events, and plan impromptu meetups

5. Church

We want to make sure that everyone who is looking for a church home is able to find one. We are an inter-denominational group of believers, so it’s certainly likely to find someone in your tradition who you can attend church with! Here is a link to a google sheet of the churches people in CCF go to/have gone to in the past. If you are looking for a church, explore some of these church websites and reach out to the contact! Let us know if you need help 😃

And those are the announcements this week! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Soli Deo Gloria!

In Christ,

Christianna + the CCF team
