The roads are soaking wet and I can see patches of oil on them that have been brought up by all the rain. The radar shows a lot of precipitation still working its way north and east through our region. As such, the Billy Goat Ride is officially CANCELLED for tonight.
Please look for my ride announcement for Monday for the Richmond Rampage which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14th. Provided the weather agrees and Kellogg isn’t still closed from the flooding we’ll do the “Lite” format – which is out and back to New Richmond. That will ramp up to the full Rampage route in April as the days get longer. If Kellogg is still flooded, we’ll likely do the “NKY Ferry Ride” – Riverside to PPB, Route 8 to the Boone County Line and back.
The switch to the Rampage is due to the fact that the Ohio Valley Race Series starts on March 20th at Deer Creek, just 10 days away.
Current Radar and a link about the Ohio River flooding, currently expected to reach 56 feet by Friday.
