CBMFFL 2025: Rule-Change Voting

Hi all,

We received four rule-change proposals for your consideration. Votes are due Sunday, January 18. Normally, I get very little response about these proposals, so any proposal getting 2/3 of the votes received will pass rather than requiring 2/3 of the league to approve a change.

Please reply directly to me with your votes:

1. Add one IR slot to rosters. Injured players may be moved to this slot and allow you to add a player without dropping someone.

2. Add a points premium for tight ends to increase their value. Tight end receptions will be worth 1.25 points (instead of 1), and tight end receiving yards will be worth 0.125 points (instead of 0.1).

3. Adjust playoff seeding so the first four spots go to the teams with the four best records, and the remaining spots go to the remaining teams with the greatest number of points scored.

4. Increase the number of teams that make the playoffs from 6 to 8.

The voters have spoken, and the results are that we like our current playoff structure, tight ends, and injured people. We will introduce an IR slot beginning next season, and we will also increase tight end scoring to 1.25 points-per-reception and 0.125 points-per-receiving yard. There will be no change to how we do our playoffs for next year.

Thanks to all for playing this year and being moderately above-average human beings. Until the draft...
