Hi Yall,
I hope this week has been good to you so far. Here's what we have going the rest of the week:
Wednesday, March 7th
I don't know if you heard but ANGELA DAVIS, renouned feminist activist and scholar, former black panther and once a part of the FBI's ten most wanted list will be coming to speak at AU! It is at 8:30 in Ward 1 but I recommend you get there early to get a seat. Sponsored by KPU and WI and co-sponsored by CASJ, Students for Choice, Black Student Alliance and Caribbean Circle.
If you don't make it into Angela Davis, which, lets be honest, some of you won't, then you should definately join STAND, AU's Anti-Genocide group and Students for Fair Trade as they bring a member of the Sudanese Diaspora to discuss the developing nation of South Sudan and offer their insight into the conflict-ridden regions of Blue Nile and Nuba Mountain. 8:30 in the EQB lounge and free ice cream!!! Thursday, March 8th
Take
Back the Night is right around the corner -- and WI is going to need

And I know yall have been activisting your hearts out so I am going to go ahead and give you the next week off. Lol JK its spring break! Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do!
