DigiCamp Stockport (Open to all Greater Manchester residents)
MadLab is very excited to be hosting Stockport's first unconference - a free event that breaks the mould of traditional conferences and moves towards a more participatory, collaborative and innovative experience.

🗓️ Friday 26th April
⏰ 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
📍 Cornerstone, 2 Edward Street, Stockport, SK1 3NQ

The theme of this unconference is - A fusion of art, tech & community: Redefining the possible...

An unconference has no scheduled speakers - instead, you drive the agenda for the day. Every attendee is a potential session leader. You might prepare a talk on something important to you, showcase your work, facilitate a discussion or deliver an interactive workshop!

An unconference takes everything mundane about a traditional conference and turns it on its head. DigiCamp Stockport promises to put the fun back into conferences, cultivate new connections and spark groundbreaking ideas.

Who is it for?
DigiCamp Stockport is designed to unite Stockport and Greater Manchester's arts, culture, technology, education and community sectors. We exist to create a space that fosters conversation, collaboration and innovation between those who are passionate about sharing ideas, learning from peers and blurring the lines between arts and tech.

Why you should come
If you’ve ever had a brilliant conversation with a fellow attendee interrupted by the scheduled event you’re at, then this is the event for you. Those conversations between attendees outside of event-scheduled speakers matter the most. DigiCamp Stockport brings those conversations to the forefront of the event and gives you, the attendee, the power to shape the day.
