Dear CAN friend,
We’re delighted to invite you and your guest to the culmination of CAN Young Artists’ project Sonic Stories in a sharing of their work on Saturday 6 December in Space 0 at Contact in Manchester.
Part of CAN’s award-winning work with young people, Sonic Stories features creative activities including music, movement and animation for young people aged 13 – 20.
The group reflects the rich diversity of the city and includes young people who are new to the UK, some of whom having experienced forced migration or displacement, with heritages rooted in countries including Portugal, Ukraine, Iran, Syria, Somalia Sudan, and Egypt as well as young people with a longer connection to Manchester.
The group explored issues around personal and mindful transformation using arts a vessel to express this.
Join us with the young people’s family and friends at the sharing – between 3.30pm – 5pm – features live performance, music and projected animation.
The sharing takes place at Contact, Oxford Road, Manchester, M15 6JA between 3.30pm – 5pm in Space 0
