I'm looking for advise on handheld GPS Devices for use in
GeoCaching...

I've researched a bit and found the ETREX by Garmin might be a good
start.

What are necessary features of a device used while Geocaching?
What is an appropriate cost?
How many devices do you need to serve multiple campers?
How durable are the device, how often do they need to be replaced?

We're excited to start a Geocaching element to our camp program but we
are novices and could use some helpful advice on the topic.
