Raising Resilient Children and Teens in a Stress Filled World

Dr. Robert Brooks, one of today's leading speakers on resilience, self-esteem, motivation, and family relationships is coming to Acton .  He will provide tips on  "Raising Resilient Children and Adolescents in a Stress-Filled World"  on Tuesday, October 25 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the RJ Grey Junior High in Acton.

Dr. Brooks has presented nationally and internationally to thousands of parents, educators and mental health professionals. He is renowned for the warmth and humor he uses to bring his insights and anecdotes to life.

His stories are largely based upon his own experiences as a clinical psychologist, father, husband, and son. These personal stories--funny, touching and unforgettable--give Dr. Brooks' presentations a wonderfully unique dimension that has captivated audiences across the U.S. and around the world.

This community program is presented by Acton-Boxborough Coalition for Healthy Youth (ABCHY) with support from Danny’s Place Youth Services. A suggested donation of ten dollars per family is gratefully accepted to help defray expenses for this program. For more information call the ABCHY phone line at 978-844-6124.
