Youth Shaping Southern Africa's Future

For four years, the Southern Africa Youth Exchange programme, SayXchange, has promoted regional integration and a southern African regional identity amongst young people. Drawing participants from Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa and Malawi, the programme encourages youth participation in regional civic affairs and fosters an understanding that future leaders with a regional perspective will drive a united front to eradicate poverty in southern Africa. The programme utilises the power of volunteerism as an important building block for strengthening intercultural understanding amongst citizens.

The 2014 exchange is now open for applications from the above countries. If you are between the ages of 18 and 25, apply before 20 May 2014 for this amazing opportunity to volunteer for five months in a community based project between July and December 2014.

To learn more about the programme and to apply go to www.sayxchange.org or contact Bento Marcos on +2711318 1012 or bma...@southernafricatrust.org.
